Features for You

The Duke Energy Convention Center has several amenities to make your visit more comfortable and even more interesting!  We feature escalators and three elevator locations to provide easy access to all three levels of the venue.  Should you need any assistance during your visit, be sure to visit the Information Booth at our main entrance lobby at Fifth Street and Elm Street.

As part of Cincinnati's Skywalk System, the convention center is physically connected to hotels and parking facilities directly adjacent to the venue.  The Skywalk System connects 15 blocks of Cincinnati's downtown business district over 1.3 miles and offers guests access to hotels, shopping and entertainment, including the famous Fountain Square.

When you need to take a break during an event, we feature the Expresso Cafe on Level 1, which offers Starbuck's coffee, drinks, sandwiches, and four large screen Plasma TV's.  If you can't find what you're looking for there, check be sure to visit our Exhibit Hall concession stands, which offer Cincinnati favorites Skyline Chili and Graeter's Ice Cream.

We also have an internal skywalk that offers a bird's-eye view of our Exhibit Halls from Level 2.  The skywalk offers views directly into Exhibit Hall A on one side and Exhibit Halls B & C to the other side and gives you the perfect vantage point to really get a good idea of the size and scope of the show.

Be sure to join our Incentive Club to stay informed of all our upcoming public events.  You can also view our Calendar of Events.

Culture is a big part of Cincinnati's identity.  Cincinnati's has Sister City relationships with Munich (Germany), Nancy (France), Kharkiv (Ukraine), Harare (Zimbabwe), Liuzhou (China), Gifu (Japan), and Taipei-Hsien (Taiwan).  For the past 20 years, the bridges between Cincinnati and our friends abroad have put a positive international spotlight on the Greater Cincinnati area by cultivating better understanding between cities and people.  You can visit an exhibit on Level 1 of the Duke Energy Convention Center to learn about these cities and the partnerships from a program that was first developed by President Dwight Eisenhower.

The exterior of the Duke Energy Convention Center features the Albee Theater arch at the corner of 5th Street and Plum Street.  This arch was added to the venue's exterior during the expansion project in the mid-1980's and serves as a beautiful reminder of the city's history.  The Albee Theater was a fixture in the Fountain Square district from 1927 to 1974 and featured stage acts and movies.
